Who we are 

Electric Buffalo Records is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded in 2015, and run by Cornell students with a passion for music. EBR operates with two primary objectives: first, to provide the Ithaca community with exceptional studio services utilizing the equipment available at 604 E Buffalo; and second, to actively distribute and market the music produced by the talented artists signed to our label. We are committed to connecting these artists with live music opportunities, including those hosted within our own building.Our mission extends beyond the boundaries of Cornell and encompasses the broader promotion and preservation of the Ithaca sound.We strive to serve as a platform for artists to showcase their unique musical expressions, and we actively seek to foster connections between these artists and audiences from diverse backgrounds. Our team of Cornell students work to provide quality studio services, create valuable opportunities, and contribute to the vibrant music culture both within and outside of Cornell University.
